Home - Main floor
The great room has cathedral ceilings and large southwest facing windows letting in lots of light and taking advantage of the spectacular mountain views. The great room has a gorgeous rock fireplace with a built-in alcove for wood. The stones are from the base of Chief Joseph Mountain and the stonework was done by a master stonemason who worked on the Cathedral of St. John the Devine in NYC and Westminster Abbey in London. The wrought iron doors on the fireplace were hand forged by local artist Chuck Fraser. The wood floors on the main floor are tamarack, milled from trees from the slopes of Chief Joseph Mountain. The great room is open to the dining room and atrium doors lead out to the slate patio.
